Phantom shells, defined in the SAR standards, for holding dielectric tissue simulant material.

They fall naturally into two categories:

• Head-shaped phantoms, also known as “Specific Anthropomorphic Mannequins” or SAMs for testing of wireless devices designed to work against the head


• Box-shaped phantoms for testing of wireless devices designed to work against the body, or for system validation
