Description
CTIA TEST Plan version 3.x specifies target dielectric values of permittivity and conductivity that vary with frequency, these target values were based on those widely used in SAR testing standards. Originally, IndexSAR produced, and currently produces, a broadband liquid dielectric (690MHz-6GHz). It is possible for liquid dielectrics values to change by moving from container to container and inadvertently exposing it to contamination and/or evaporation. In response to a demand for sealed phantoms IndexSAR developed a recipe formulation to produced a gel material that with equal performance that of a liquid. IXG-CTIA gel can be supplied prefilled in a IXB-030 SAM heads phantom, or existing SAM heads factory retro-filled.
