In addition to manufacturing tissue simulants to meet the specific dielectric properties (permittivity and conductivity) as required in the international standards IndexSAR have developed a design tool to predict the material recipe required for custom simulants.   This  allows  broad or narrow band fluids to be made to customer specific properties and frequency requirements over a wide frequency range.
